On Monday, August 11, 2014 a Wildfire was discovered. The fire was approximately 15km southeast of Houston, British Columbia. The cause of the fire was determined to be from a lightning strike.
Please check with the Houston Hikers Society for updated trail information. I have their website and link below. Since the fire was two years ago, the entire area has new growth, and with this it makes for a very scenic hike, or for taking pictures.
