In the marsh I found it teaming with all types of life, if it insects, birds and lots of signs of larger animals, such as moose and bear. This is another wonderful place for people to explore.

Owen Lake has 13 camping spots which are well maintained. 

There is wheelchair accessible to the toilets.

The lake is a awesome spot for the entire family for swimming, fishing, 

boating and hiking. There is also a boat launch and dock.

I moved from Surrey in 1981 to Houston, B.C. It was a big move for us from the big city to a small town and an eye opener, but I fell in love with the scenery around Houston. 

We love to fish, and we are surrounded by lakes and some of the 

worlds best Steelhead fishing. 

Houston has it all really, if it Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring, there is lots to do. 

So come visit us, we welcome you.
