Our Trip To Nanaimo Vancouver Island British Columbia On The BC Ferries (Photos)

It was time for a holiday, so my wife and I packed the Jeep and headed off to visit my son in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island here in British Columbia.

To get to Nanaimo, you have to take the British Columbia Ferry from West Vancouver, leaving from Horseshoe Bay and you arrive at Departure Bay which is a bay in central Nanaimo.

I took a number of pictures from the Ferry and have them posted below.

You can visit the British Columbia Ferries website to make your reservation.

The Coast Mountains are a major mountain range, in the Pacific Coast Ranges, of western North America, extending from southwestern Yukon through the Alaska Panhandle and virtually all of the Coast of British Columbia south to the Fraser River.
