On Saturday August 22, 2015 Houston held there "Lets Explore Houston Festival" and the town merchants welcomed all, young and old to take part in a lot of fun for the day.
Members of the Topley 4-H Club were on hand to show off a beautiful donation steer by the name of Haybale, and they were going to auction off the steer later in August at the
Bulkley Valley Exhibition in Smithers, British Columbia.
Also on Saturday August 22, 2015 Canfor through an amazing barbeque feeding anyone who wanted to sit down and enjoy a great meal. Also you could put your name in for a draw that was taking place later that afternoon, as Canfor had some wonderful gifts to hand out to children and adults if you had the lucky ticket.
Again on Saturday August 22, 2015, Houston's merchants had set up tables where you could get some great deals on many items that were for sale, also there was a large bouncy house that kids could jump around in, and they certainly had fun doing that.
There also was the car show, where proud owners showed up with their pride and joy. There was a lot of things to do, you just needed to walk around to take it all in.

There also was face painting and kids were lining up to get
there very own tattoo which was painted on.

I certainly will be ready next year with camera in hand to see what "Lets Explore Houston Festival" as to offer us all.
