Steelhead Park Houston British Columbia (Photos)

Below Pictures: While there, I took some more photos and some video footage of the park and I have posted them below.

Information Source: District of Houston, B.C. website. http://www.houston.ca/siteengine/activepage.asp?PageID=78

Located on the east side of Houston along Highway 16, this park is the pride and joy of our community.

It boasts the “World’s Largest Flyrod”, walking trails, playground, dog run, picnic areas, fountains and beautiful flower gardens.

This park is now being extended along the highway to the stoplight and will also soon hold our “Walk through History” museum.

Frank Eberman's sculpture was created in 1992 and was placed into the Steelhead Park. It depicts the Steelhead coming back to spawn.

Below Photo: I took this picture because of the black clouds that were rolling in.
